Marine chert is a unique sedimentary fossil stone containing a large amount of siliceous diatom marine invertebrates

California marine chert, found by myself, hand cut, hand polished, and hand silversmithed into a .925 sterling silver prong setting.  Pendant measures 58mm (2.5") x 24mm (1").  Sterling silver chain is 31" long.
