I love to bring my camera with me wherever I go to give me a chance to really admire the beauty around me. I love to watch Cooper's Hawks soar and dive to catch their next meal with their incredible eyesight. I'm grateful that I get to admire these acceptors year round where I live.
I found this beautiful carnelian agate while beachcombing the shores of Malibu, Caifornia, cut it, hand polished it, and found it perfect to pair with this Cooper's Hawk in this statement necklace.
I hand sawed this Cooper's Hawk out of sterling silver from a photo I took of a Cooper's Hawk overhead and hand engraved it to add detail to this beautiful scene.
