I found this super awesome chunk of marine fossils in the Los Padres National Forest in southern California while camping in a dried out river bed.  Fossils are so intriguing to me; showing a glimpse of the past and how things once were.  Evidence that that area was once under the ocean is mersmerizing to think about and even more amazing to be able to wear a piece of it.  I created this necklace as a simple statement piece to show off it's beauty and uniqueness.
