Since as long as I can remember, I have always been completely intrigued by the ocean, all of the plants and animals within it, and how they all work together in incredible symbiotic relationships.  The beautiful coast of California is filled with unique flora and fauna making this particular intertidal zone incredibly special and a vital part of the health of our overall environment.  
 
I created this statement ring to reflect the bulbs of giant kelp and remind us of how special our coast is and the need to take care of it to keep it healthy and thriving.
 
I found this gorgeous agate on the beach in Malibu, California.  I cut it, hand polished it, and took inspiration from the beautiful California coast to hand silversmith it into this one-of-a-kind sterling silver statement ring.


This sterling silver statement ring is a size 8.  The agate measures 19mm x 11mm and the band is 14mm wide.  This ring comes out 5mm from your finger.
