Since as long as I can remember, I have always been completely intrigued by the ocean, all of the plants and animals within it, and how they all work together in incredible symbiotic relationships.  The beautiful coast of California is filled with unique flora and fauna making this particular intertidal zone incredibly special and a vital part of the health of our overall environment.  
 
I created this statement ring to reflect the giant kelp forests and remind us of how special our coast is and the need to take care of it to keep it healthy and thriving.  I hand crafted giant kelp out of sterling silver along side barnacles and tunicates that I hand carved out of sterling silver as well.
 
I found this gorgeous plume agate on the beach in Malibu, California.  I cut it, hand polished it, and took inspiration from the beautiful California coast to hand silversmith it into this one-of-a-kind sterling silver statement ring.


This sterling silver statement ring is a size 6.5.  This ring measures 37mm x 18mm.  This ring comes out 6mm from your finger.
