I created this completely handmade (not cast) sterling silver California Poppy as reminder and representation of the beauty of California, our native plants, and the importance of keeping public lands in public hands. I paired it witht his amazing agate that I found while hikiing out in the vast landscape of Mojave Desert, CA. I brought this agate home, cut it, hand polished it, and drilled a hole through the center to rivet this hand created sterling poppy in the middle.
Every single part of this piece is completely handmade by myself; nothing is cast and everything is 100% one of a kind.
This Statement Necklace measures 32mm (from the top of the bail) x 15mm and comes with your choice of a 16", 18", or 20" sterling silver rolo chain.

Sterling silver is fine to wear in water, HOWEVER, it will rapidly tarnish if worn in saltwater or a swimming pool
To regularly clean stone and silver, gently scrub with a soft toothbrush, warm water, and dish soap
To remove natural tarnish, if you please, purchase a Sunshine Cloth or Propolish pads to gently rub away excess tarnish. These can be purchased from various online retailers such as Amazon or Rio Grande.
